In 2004, Thomas Jane starred in The Punisher, a movie that was not a real good film by box office standards, but Thomas’ portrayal of Frank Castle was fantastic and over time the film gained a great cult following through massive DVD sales and TV ratings. Later, not satisfied with what he made, Thomas created a ten minute highly acclaimed fan film called Dirty Laundry that perfected the character of The Punisher (“Do you know the difference between justice and punishment?”) and took the entire world by storm. His skull emblem design is highly iconic and well known throughout the world. It’s even seen prominently in the 2014 blockbuster film The American Sniper worn by Chris Kyle and his team of soldiers who call themselves The Punishers. Thomas Jane portrayed The Punisher perfectly. But no one could ever imagine him as The Punisher plucking and strumming a harp. I can. Just as I can imagine Jon Bernthal as The Punisher playing the harp, I can imagine Thomas Jane as The Punisher play the harp– and make it all happen! Here, my friends, is the newest member of The Punisher Harp Ensemble. The star of the 2004 cult classic film and the cleaner of Dirty Laundry himself, Thomas Jane, The Punishing Harpist!

Owosso Harpist: Sherry Konkus lives in Owosso, MI. She is the proud owner of the Camac Athena EX Concert Grand Harp named "Grover" and Camac Mademoiselle named "Ernie." She's also the proud author of The Punisher Harp Zone. Sherry is the one who came up with the idea of portraying The Punisher from Marvel Comics as the punishing harpist who plays the harp in memory of his family who was killed by the mob years ago.
