You have to admit. Steve Dillon’s Punisher art seen in Becky Cloonan’s Punisher run sure is different than the older version of his art seen in many Punisher comics, including the highly acclaimed Punisher Max series. Months ago, I created this Punisher harp art showing Steve Dillon’s older version of The Punisher performing harp music.
Here I drew Frank resembling Dillon’s version of The Punisher as seen in “Welcome Back, Frank.” and The Thunderbolts storyline.
And now get a load my newest version of the harp art based on Dillon’s updated take on The Punisher as seen in Becky Cloonan’s Punisher run.
Drawn by myself using free-hand drawing and Photoshop, this is my newest piece showing Steve Dillon’s modern version of Frank singing and practicing on his harp.

Sherry is the one who came up with the idea of portraying The Punisher from Marvel Comics as the punishing harpist who plays the harp in memory of his family who was killed by the mob years ago.
