The Punisher and Peter Tork

Antenna TV is one of the newest channels that’s shown in various cable and satellite networks such as Charter and Dish. Just like MeTV, Antenna TV airs classic TV shows from the bygone eras of the 1950s, 60s’, 70s’, and some 80s.’ It airs rarities, such as It’s About Time, Hazel, and My Mother, The Car, which have not been on the air for many decades. Anyone born in the 1940s and 50s’ will remember seeing those shows when they were little kids growing up during those 20th century timelines. It also airs very well known classics like The Jeffersons, Sanford and Son, Green Acres, All in the Family, The Partridge Family, and Mister EdThe Monkees, an absolute hit show starring Mike, Micky, Davy, and Peter Tork, 4 men who make up one of the 60s’ best loved rock n’ roll bands The Monkees, is also airing Sundays on Antenna TV as well.
Now you probably wonder, “What the *&^% does this have to do with The Punisher and his harp?” Well let me tell you. The Monkees TV show contains an incredible episode entitled “The Devil and Peter Tork” where Peter ends up unwittingly exchange his soul to The Devil (not Matt Murdock, mind you) for the ability to play the harp.
One day Peter went into a pawn shop where Mr. S. Zero, the store’s shady proprietor, tricked Peter into signing a contract agreeing to surrender his soul to the Devil in exchange for an ability to play the harp.

Frank's watching The Monkees with me.

Too bad there’s no baseball bat around to hit a home run to the Devil’s skull for the crime of ripping off Peter’s soul.

Peter took the harp home and showed it off to his fellow band members who told him that he can’t play the harp and suggests that he take the harp back to the store. But Zero appears and shows to everyone that Peter can play the harp just by telling him, “Play, Peter.” And Peter did.

Peter can play the harp!

The rest of the band is very impressed by Peter’s new found skill. But that’s not all. Zero also promised Peter an overnight success of adding a harp to the band as they embark on a world tour.

Don't you mean "Punisher's Harp is Happening?"

Uh, I prefer the paper to read “Punisher Harp is Happening!” Especially in the Marvel Universe.

The gang reveled in their overnight success, but the bottom soon falls out as the gang learns of the real motive behind Zero’s scam. So now Mike, Micky, and Davy all had to race against time to figure out a way to rescue Peter’s soul from that fiery putrid pit.
If only there's a way to punish Zero for swindling the band.
Mike had to step in to save Peter’s soul by revealing to Zero that the contract is a total rip off and demands to take the whole case to court to testify against it. Zero complies by dredging up his own version of a judicial court containing thugs and villains from the past such as Judge Roy Bean, the 12 inmates from Devil’s Island, and 3 witnesses made up of Blackbeard the Pirate, Attila the Hun, and Billy the Kid.
I rest my case...
Mike, not buying into all of the 3 “witnesses,” calls for Mr. Zero to step in as the real main witness and proclaims that the contract is invalid because Zero never gave Peter anything at all, not even the ability the play the harp. Zero just laughed it off as Mike gave a moving speech about how Peter’s ability to play the harp, or any other musical instrument for that matter, was inside Peter all along. Peter was born with the ability to play the harp just like I am. No one, not even Zero, gave Peter such a musical talent ever. Neither did he took it away from him when he clapped his hands and lies by saying that he took Peter’s talent away from him when he in fact didn’t. He conjures up the harp and dares Peter to play it, now that his harp talent is allegedly gone.
Little Peter come play your harp.
A little coaxing from Mike is all that it took for Peter to go to the harp and play a beautiful rendition of “I Wanna Be Free.” that moved the entire court to tears to same way The Avengers (and The Defenders, too) are moved to tears when they hear The Punisher’s stirring harp songs.
Play, Peter, play.

Make the strings dance like Punisher does with his harp.

And when Peter finished the song, the judge delivered the verdict: “Not guilty!” And the court erupted in cheers and applause.

Peter's soul is saved!
A celebration in court; court is ajourned.
Zero, defeated and disgraced, returns back to that hot place called [“Koo-Koo”] where he belongs and The Monkees all celebrate their victory. All throughout the episode, I took photos of just about all the scenes where the harp and Peter playing it were prominently shown throughout the episode using my smartphone. Apparently my 2 Punisher figures and their harps wanted to get into the act, too, but they both realized that it’s just an old tv show they can enjoy watching over and over again while on break from their harp playing and punishing criminals.
