Sorry. The Punisher Netflix Panel at #NYCC has been canceled

You know who!

This guy kills psychopaths like the murderous Las Vegas guy.

UPDATE: They also canceled the Paris panel event, too.
I am deeply saddened to find out that the #NYCC’s Punisher panel event that’s been scheduled for this coming Saturday, October the 7th has been canceled due to the tragic Las Vegas incident that occurred Sunday late night into Monday morning.
That’s when a lone gunman on the higher floors of a hotel casino took some high profiled guns, broke open two windows, and open fire on a large country music concert event nearby, killing 58 people and injuring more than 500 of them before committing suicide. The LVPD are still investigating the incident which is done by a professional gambler who probably did it because he lost a lot of money in a gambling bet and decided to take it out on a large group of party goers. It may or may not be exactly what brought on this gruesome massacre, but that’s my guess is to what cause all this horrible tragedy to happen.
And that’s ok. With people everywhere still shaken over what happened in Las Vegas a few days ago, I don’t blame them for cancelling the panel event at least until the whole tragic ordeal dies down.
You know, like a lot of you, at times like this, I sure do wish The Punisher was a real person instead of a fictional character from the comics. Punisher is known to go after such psychopaths and kill them before they have a chance to commit mass murder.
If Marvel were to write a Punisher story that involves keeping guns away from children and the mentally ill, they will write a story about how Frank went after and destroyed a group of criminals who were planning to take a large cache of incredibly dangerous weapons and devices, like what the gunman have used to commit the horrible crime, and sell them to minors for a very cheap price. Frank, knowing what will happen if the people get their hands on the weapons, goes all the way to not only wipe out the gun cartel, but also destroy the warehouses where the guns and the weaponry are being kept. That way no one will be able to get their hands on them and use them to kill innocent lives and themselves.
Frank maybe “a guy with guns” who owns a huge menagerie of all kinds of weapons and armory he have collected over the years, but he’s got more common sense in his head than every gun, bomb, grenade, rifle, tank, mine, and knife he keeps in all of his safe areas. He wants the innocent alive and unharmed. He goes all the way to protect the innocent, saving all his killings only for the guilty, including the likes of that Las Vegas psychopath who have been described as “a quiet man who never bother anybody” while secretly hiding a much dark agenda that speaks volumes.
I hope The Punisher series will still air on Netflix in due time. Just because there was a major tragic event that involves guns doesn’t mean they have to take The Punisher, Daredevil, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, or any other show that has people using guns to kill, take hostages, and fight back against a villain off the air. We will see Punisher on Netflix soon, but no panel at NYCC this time. Sorry.
