The Punisher Masters

Two days ago, the 6th and last issue of Punisher Max: The Platoon comic was released in comic book stores everywhere. When the story concluded, Garth Ennis, the man behind the storyline released this awesome statement telling us that he’s not done with Frank.

More Garth Ennis' Punisher!
More Garth Ennis’ Punisher!

This exciting news puts all fears of not seeing any more of Garth’s incredible Punisher stories whether in Max form or in Main 616 to rest. We’re going to have more Punisher stories written by Garth Ennis that will add to his collection of awesome Punisher works.
Garth Ennis should be highly regarded as The Punisher Master. A type of a Punisher writer, artist (such as Tim Bradstreet and Mike Zeck), or actor who nailed the image of The Punisher perfectly. Ennis is a master in Punisher writing because he clearly understands everything there is to know about Frank Castle from what’s going on in his mind to finding creative ways of destroying the most dangerous criminals on earth. Another secret to his comic book success is Ennis’ acknowledgment that Frank’s stories work best when he’s in a real-world setting very much like our world where there is no such thing as Godzilla-type monsters, super-powered humans, mutants, zombies, talking animals, aliens, fantasy worlds, or supernatural beings of all kinds.
The Real Punisher!
I bet you know what this promo remind you of comic book cover-wise.

Another person who must be regarded as The Punisher Master is Jon Bernthal, the man who acted out as The Punisher in Daredevil Season 2 and in his own solo Punisher series and totally nailed it! He mastered the role of The Punisher flawlessly beyond words.
In my honest opinion, there is no Punisher actor before him that can compare to Jon’s award-winning performance as Frank Castle. A real family man who was chosen to play the part of a man who lost all of his loved ones to criminals and became The Punisher as the result. His impressive performance in Daredevil Season 2 earns Jon his very own solo Punisher series that received huge praise from people who saw the show and were amazed by the flawless acting, a masterful storyline, and a magnificent cast. Everything about the show is a masterpiece right up there with Garth Ennis’ Punisher Max comics.  Can someone please give this show an Emmy!
I will always regard both Garth Ennis and Jon Bernthal as The Punisher Masters because these 2 wonderful men perfected the image of Frank Castle in every way in both comic book and TV show forms. Like Mary Poppins, Jon and Garth’s version of The Punisher is perfect in every way.
