Pumped up for Marvel's The Punisher Season 2!

I gotta tell you, I am so pumped up for Punisher Season 2 now. SpoilerTV.com has announced that Punisher Season 2 will start filming in two weeks and be finished sometime on July 20th which is 3 days before my 45th birthday! I got a whole lot of expectations and high hopes for the show to be exactly like Season 1: a masterpiece that surpasses all other Marvel Netflix shows like The Defenders and Daredevil. The show could’ve never have been made if it weren’t for the impressive, incredible performance of Jon Bernthal who perfected the portrayal of Frank Castle in Daredevil Season 2 and took the entire MCU by storm.
I got nothing but high praise for Bernthal and for The Punisher show. Never mind all the cringe-worthy scenes of Billy and Dinah sexing things up in their birthday suits, the foul language, and the disturbing torture scenes. Never mind all that! Somebody give the show an Emmy!
Rumor has it that Punisher Season 2 will be an adaptation of The Slavers, a 5-star Punisher Max storyline about Frank being hell-bent on destroying a sex-slave ring responsible for ruining Viorica’s life and the death of her baby. Perhaps it will also have more backstories dealing with soldiers suffering from PTSD as well as discussing more gun control along with dreams and flashbacks in Punisher’s mind. Punisher will meet a family that reminds him of his own late family and strives to help this family out the way he helped The Lieberman Family be saved and reunited. There’s a whole lot of speculations out there to find out what Season 2 will be like and how will Punisher handle this new kind of conspiracy that could be as bad if not worse as the previous one if he finds himself being drawn into it.
But most of all, I would love to see more Punisher guitar scenes. More of Frank and Micro playing guitar. Perhaps Karen or Billy (aka Jigsaw) can play guitar in one scene as well (Fact: Ben Barnes is a musician and a great singer.). Best yet, can they do a scene where The Punisher plays the harp? It isn’t just the guitar that Punisher can play, he can also play the harp, too, if the producers are willing to do that. Oh, that would be sheer joy for me to see that happen if they can do this. A scene where Frank plays the harp while thinking about his late family. Perhaps do a musical scene where Frank sings a song for Karen. A moving, touching song as emotional as his speech in the graveyard scene in Daredevil Season 2. Now that would be one of the many things that would compel anyone, even me, to forget the comics, cartoon, and film portrayals completely and focus all our Punisher love and fandom only on Jon Bernthal’s portrayal.
What we expect from the cast and crew of Marvel’s The Punisher is to not mess up their acting performances and put in sci-fi fantasy themes such as monsters, aliens, or super-powered beings. Like in Season 1, all the world of Punisher Season 2 must be just like our world that’s entirely grounded in reality. That’s what we want. That’s what we anticipate. And that’s what we want to see in Punisher Season 2.
