Am I seeing things or is that Jon Bernthal, the definitive Punisher, appearing as a different character in the upcoming video game set to be released on Thursday, May the 2nd? Have a good look at this trailer to Operation Oracle, a video game add on to Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands game for PC, PS4, XBox, and Uplay by Ubisoft.
From PCGamer.com — Operation Oracle introduces a new character by the name of Cole D. Walker, a “Ghost Team Leader with his own agenda,” who’s been sent to extract a Skell Technology engineer who’s been arrested by Unidad. Skell Tech is the company behind some of the high-tech gadgetry used by Ghost Recon, Fourth Echelon, and Rainbow, and so obviously you don’t want him talking too much to the Bolivian military. Ubisoft said players will “uncover information that will redefine loyalty,” and warned that missions will need to be explored thoroughly: “What you will discover here might very well set the scene for the future.”
Players can try out this addon to the main game free of charge this weekend on May 2nd – 5th and help Cole (Jon Bernthal, The Punisher) seek the truth while battling scores of villains littering every play field in the game.

UPDATE – Ubisoft confirms it. Yes, that is Jon, The Definitive Punisher, appearing in the game. 🙂
