Marvel's The Punisher,  The Punisher on Netflix

Eminem Weighs in on Netflix Cancellations.

A lot of people, including myself, are very upset that Netflix cancels Marvel’s The Punisher. We were all dreading that day when we find out that Netflix cancels Punisher for pathetic petty reasons. Sure enough, it came and just like that people who are fans of all the Marvel Netflix shows are angry at Netflix for cancelling both Daredevil and especially The Punisher. It isn’t just ordinary people who are upset that Netflix have forfeited a majority of subscribers in the name of competition and the almighty dollar . Many celebs are upset about all this, too. No more upset than the Grammy award-winning rap artist Marshall Mathers, better known as Eminem.

Now here’s a big Punisher fan who appeared in a Punisher comic one time, teaming up with Frank to take out Barracuda and other criminals who’s helping parents of rap fans ban the music in a very crooked way.

Eminem and The Punisher in this classic Punisher One-shot story.

As you can see, Eminem is not taking this cancellation too well like all of us. He posted this tweet in all caps, telling Netflix that it blew it. And I agree. Netflix blew its chance to achieve great revenues and a lot of subscribers to its streaming site. If you go look at any ratings chart and see subscription levels for Netflix tanking, then you will know why it’s happening. Netflix have made a big mistake cancelling all the Marvel shows, including Punisher.

Even the beloved Jon Bernthal agrees with him.

The beloved Bernthal, the definitive Punisher, the one who I hope and pray he will come back and be Frank Castle once more. Sure he’s at peace with Netflix’s decision to cancel the Punisher show, but that don’t necessary mean he’ll putting his guns and skull emblem away for good, I think. I would like for him to come back and be Punisher again and again and again.

Heck. I want all the cast and crew of the Punisher to came back and do more of Frank Castle. We just can’t get enough of #Kastle, Frank destroying criminals, seeing him play guitar, the flashbacks, the nightmares, everything about the show that’s worthy of receiving an Emmy for an outstanding job of creating an incredible entertaining show.

There are tons of Punisher stories found in the comics that keeps die-hard Punisher comic book fans happy and satisfied along with Punisher movies and TV shows to make it complete. As for me what I want is more of Jon Bernthal’s Punisher stories straight out of the MCU exactly as seen in Marvel’s The Punisher with no traces of fantasy or sci-fi elements in them. Just as reality based Punisher series a lot like Punisher Max, but with Frank being 50% human and 50% Punisher.

Sherry is the one who came up with the idea of portraying The Punisher from Marvel Comics as the punishing harpist who plays the harp in memory of his family who was killed by the mob years ago.
