I saw this on Facebook. Don’t you think this version of The Punisher designed for Marvel’s Contest of Champions mobile game kinda reminds you of Jake Gallows, The Punisher of 2099?
To be honest, I don’t mind this version of Jake Gallows. But on the other hand, he’s been getting a lot of negative criticism from many Punisher fans on Facebook because of his half-white, half-black appearance that do not sit well with those who are familiar with what Jake Gallows should look like in the comics. 

This is what Jake Gallows should look like. Just as seen in the comics, Jake’s all white, armed and ready for battle. Jake Gallows became inspired by Frank Castle from the 20th Century to follow in his footsteps and become The Punisher when he discovered some original manuscripts of Frank Castle’s original Punisher War Journal that contain this last line: You who find this, I charge you to carry on my work.”
Like Frank, Jake also have witnessed and survived a brutal murder attack on his family by a criminal mob and was unable to get justice for his family. Motivated by the old War Journal, Jake became The Punisher of 2099.
Sorry to say, Jake is not at all interested in becoming a harpist like Frank has done. In fact in Jake’s world it is not known whether Frank played the harp in the 20th century or not. Rumor has it that Frank once kept a journal where he accounts of some rare peaceful times where he spent hours producing beautiful harp music while reminiscing about his late family rather than engaging in war.
Sadly, if it ever existed the journal either found itself in a museum, a private collection, or in a landfill where it was eventually lost along with any photos, videos, and music recordings made of Frank playing his harp. As for his harp, when Frank died, the harp was donated to a private collection where it remains to this day.
Don’t bother asking me to do a harp-playing Jake Gallows art. Jake doesn’t have the talent for the harp and is not interested in being a harpist at all. He’s only interested in one thing and one thing only: Bringing punishment to the guilty!
