Last night I posted these 2 Punisher head portraits I just drew onto The Punisher HQ Facebook page. Moments later some jerk off came along and made incredibly nasty comments about them! I resented those comments. Promptly I took it up with the administrator who promptly banned him a short time later. No one, not even that idiotic person has any right to make nasty comments about my artwork at all.
Ever since I was a little girl, I enjoy drawing. I drew mainly dinosaurs, but I also drew harp pictures as well. I had a whole lot of practice to get the shape of the harp and the people playing them right. I drew and erase, I drew again, erase a lot to where the paper I was drawing on was wearing down to a hole. I ended up having my pics smear and blotted with pen ink and markers. They all would’ve ruined the picture in the past, but today I am very fortunate to have Photoshop installed on my PC where I can use it to make my harp drawings right and never have to worry about the paper tearing at the edges when I color, smears of ink and marker blotting the page, or erasers wearing down the paper. I salvaged and perfected many harp drawings that way.

Just like everybody else who is an artist, when I post my work on my sites, I expect people to be respectful of my work. You may or may not like my Punisher Harp concept, but please do not be like that guy on Facebook who came along and spew out nasty comments only to get banned from the page moments later.
My greatest hope for my work is for it to become a cult favorite that’s well loved by many people all over the world, even those who work for Marvel, Image, Dark Horse, and DC Comics. Take Transformers: The Movie, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, and all 3 Punisher films for example. People didn’t like them at first, but they gradually warm up to them and became big fans of all these beloved cult favorites that have a worldwide fanbase. I would love to see my concept experience the same thing and become a much loved worldwide cult favorite, too.
The concept of The Punisher playing the harp in memory of his family may not sit well with some people who are used to seeing Frank unload his firearms at any lowlife marked for punishment, but nevertheless it’s an excellent concept I made up that deserves a chance to attract a really great worldwide fanbase of its own regardless of whether he/she is a fan of The Punisher or not.
I’m glad to see that there are many people out there who really love my work including those who didn’t like it at first, but have warmed up to it later on. I’ll continue to make Punisher Harp Art as long as I want to and as long as there are people out there who are interested and very enthusiastic about my work. People who’ll come to love, praise, give me good, positive critique and comments, and above all admire my work. That is what I prefer to see.
