Over the years, I grew up watching the 1966 version of Batman. But today I’m really going to cry. Adam West, who played Batman in the famous Batman TV series has died at the age of 88 after a short battle with Leukemia. Adam was truly a terrific actor who appeared in many popular shows and Western films. But he was most famous in his starring role in the famous 1966 TV series, playing the part of Batman (aka Bruce Wayne) who alongside Burt Ward as Robin (aka Dick Grayson) fights crime in the streets of Gotham City.
In honor of Adam West and his legacy as Batman, here is the famous intro and closing to the 1966 TV series Batman.
RIP, Adam West.
CORRECTION: I had to change the title a bit. He was actually born in 1928, not 1927. Sorry. My bad.
