I have a fan theory about what Marvel’s The Punisher Season 2 will be all about. It has to do with John Pilgrim (Josh Stewart), a man who became deeply religious to conceal a violent nature he has within him. My theory is that John Pilgrim is loosely based on The Mennonite from Punisher Max. He was a hitman working for the Schultz Crime Family until he manages to find religion and broke away from the family. But a young girl named Amy Bendrix (Giorgia Whigham) came along and stuck her nose into the Schultzs‘ business which she wasn’t supposed to do apparently. And that set off alarm bells that prompted the crime family to send John out to destroy her. They’ll even send out big-tall Vory (Robbie DeRaffele), their personal bodyguard loosely based on The Russian, to destroy Punisher (Jon Bernthal) when they found out that Frank is targeting them once he learned of Amy’s plight and agrees to help her. So now Frank will have to travel back to New York and destroy Vory, John, and the whole Schultz Crime Family to save Amy and her father.
Once Frank arrives in Brooklyn, Curtis Hoyle (Jason R. Moore) will be there to give him an old beat-up trailer with bullet-ridden door to hideout in. The beat-up trailer is located in a junkyard. It was once owned by Curt before he gave it to Frank to use as his home. In it, Frank will spend a lot of time eating canned food, reading books, playing guitar, and at least trying to get a good night sleep without having recurring nightmares over and over again just as he did in Season 1.
I can’t wait to see what the old-beat up trailer is like. Probably it’ll look like what you see in trailer parks. Simple, small trailer homes that can house one or two persons inside like this.
To really see what the beat-up trailer looks like, we’ll just have to wait until Punisher Season 2 premieres on Netflix sometime in January. Then, pray that Netflix keeps Punisher and renews it for Season 3!
