3 Great Guitar Scenes

Marvel’s The Punisher has ultimately succeeded in creating a blockbuster masterpiece! Doing exactly what the 3 previous attempts to get The Punisher on the screen have failed to do and so much more. For an adult-rated TV show, The Punisher has something in it for everybody, like drama, kids, family, comedy, literature, music, action, horror, violence, sex, guitars, guns, knives, conspiracies, everything. It has zero superheroes and villains, magical beings or fantasies. But who needs them? Punisher does extremely well without them and so much more.
I’ll probably try to watch more of Punisher soon although I’ll likely get very uncomfortable and disturbed at the sight of (Warning spoilers!) a naked Billy stroking a naked Dinah like a cat, 2 hostages captured and tied up at the carousel, Zach walloping his sister Leo, and a Thanksgiving Nightmare to name a few of the disturbing things you’ll find in the show.
In all of Punisher series, the only scenes that matter to me is the 3 beloved guitar scenes where Frank plays the guitar in various finishes. In the intro where he plays a guitar in a sunburst finish,..
The flashback intro where Frank teaches Lisa how to play guitar.

..in Kandahar where he plays a guitar in a natural finish,..

Frank plays guitar in Kandahar

..and in Micro’s basement warehouse where we find that Micro can play the guitar, too, in a black finish with a whole lot of dedication and practice.

Later:

Micro and his guitar.
You know, I would love to see in Season 2 of The Punisher both Micro and Frank do a guitar duet together in one scene where the two dance, sing, and play guitar together. Now that would be a real funny scene if Micro gets Frank into playing a guitar duet with him and they both dance, sing, and strum their guitars while kicking each other’s butt. Now that’s what I call a scene straight out of the classic vaudeville era.
But what about a harp scene, where Frank plays the harp and sings a song for Karen? If Frank can learn the guitar, he can learn the harp as well. After all, just like the guitar, it takes dedication to learn how to play the harp. What a sight and pure joy to see the cast and crew of The Punisher really do a harp scene where Frank plays the harp, especially for Karen who returns from Hell’s Kitchen to find out what Frank’s up to. Maybe Karen would be sitting on a bench overlooking New York Harbor when Frank shows up with a 33-stringed harp strapped to his body, playing a moving song that affirms and expresses his love toward her. Now that would be something for everyone to enjoy without having to deal with guns, knives, blood and gut spills, torture, and other disturbing nightmarish scenes.
One of these days I got to to go back to doing another Punisher Harp Art where I can picture Micro and Karen playing and enjoying music alongside the “scary beautiful man” with the 47 strings.
